Minecraft Central (mccentral.org, also reachable at mc-central.net) is a Minecraft server network whose official forums host announcements, changelogs, and community sections such as staff teams, appeals, reports, and events. Its server lineup includes Prison, Skyblock, Survival, and Gens Tycoon, each with its own seasonal progression and reset cycle. The network maintains a Discord community alongside the in-game servers, and its announcements are published by staff members under the name AlexMarkey.

Prison is the most heavily documented mode. Its 27.0 season, announced on 12 August 2026 with a reset on Friday 14 August at 3pm MST, added Token Backpacks that store large amounts of Tokens and can be upgraded like Mining Backpacks, a Mining Frenzy event that turns the entire Abyss Mine into Quartz Ore for 5 minutes every 8 hours, and support for Coinflips using Essence as a currency. The season also raised the Ascension level cap to 150, added a Private Mine upgrade that reduces the block requirement for spinning the Wheel of Fortune, introduced bulk opening of Treasure Pouches via sneak and right click, and included a new Japanese-themed spawn build. Skyblock 29.0, announced on 15 July 2026 with a reset on Friday 17 July at 3pm MST, added Crystal Spawners as an end-game progression feature and an Auction House history showing previously sold items. A separate update on 31 July 2026 introduced the limited-time Zeus key across Survival, Skyblock, and Gens Tycoon, offering a Zeus-themed armour set and tools, an Olympus chat tag, charms and runes, plus collectible plushies awarded for every three limited-time keys opened.
